Adding Provenance to Digital Art: A Lending Protocol

Transient Lab already offers the inscription feature, but many of us would love to see a lending feature added.

In essence, this would function as a send option with a timed duration or a pullback feature.

For example, if a museum, gallery, or festival wants to exhibit or possibly sell an artwork, they could request it for a specific time period (e.g., from xx/xx/xxxx to xx/xx/xxxx).
You would send the artwork to their wallet with a limit of, say, 2 weeks.
After the set time, the artwork would automatically return to the collector's or artist’s wallet, now enriched with the provenance of having been exhibited at the venue.

Imagine seeing "CalgaryContemporary.eth," "BeijingContemporary.eth," or even "Moma.eth" listed in the ledger of previous holders of the artwork.
